A business plan rather than a lease event will generally influence the tenant’s decision to seek to alter or extend the length of their lease, or to structure a new lease arrangement with the landlord.

Lease Breaks

Where a tenant intends to exercise their lease break, it is crucial to establish the conditions associated with the break clause and to factor in enough time (at least 12 months) so that the dilapidations and repair issues or financial settlement options can be considered.
